About The Position

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Heavy Load Yard Coordinator to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for inspecting deliveries, loading and unloading heavy equipment using 120k lbs. straddle cane and fork truck, along with ensuring the efficient organization of all assets within the yard. You will play a crucial part in maintaining a safe and organized environment for both employees and customers. Additionally, you will assist with deliveries, pickups, and winter snow removal as needed. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in heavy equipment operation, excellent organizational skills, and a commitment to safety.

Requirements

  • Three or more years of heavy equipment operation and knowledge a must.
  • Computer literate. Must be familiar with programs such as Microsoft, Excel and Outlook.
  • Ability to follow all safety rules and wear proper safety equipment in the shop.
  • Must be a self-starter with good time management.
  • Excellent planning & organizational skills required.
  • Ability to work overtime and some weekends when needed.
  • Excellent communication skills (written, e-mail, and verbal) are necessary.
  • Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs. and provide your own tools.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license with clean driving record. This includes no more than 2 minor violations within the past 3 years and no major violations within the past 5 years (Motor Vehicle Report will be performed on final candidate).

  • OSHA Certified is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Inspect and identify damage on all deliveries.
  • Load and unload parts/units heavy oversize loads.
  • Track all shipping and receiving of equipment within the yard along with maintaining overall organization.
  • Responsible for the upkeep of the yard, making sure it’s a safe environment at all times for employees and customers.
  • Assist with deliveries/pickups on occasion.
  • Assist with winter snow removal.
  • Other duties as assigned
