Requirements

Basic math skills
Ability to check slopes and grades using lasers, levels, and GPS
Able to locate existing utilities using vac trailer and shovels
Ability to follow procedures and strong attention to detail
Ability to make decisions and problem solve
Accept responsibility for actions
Time management
Ability to work with a variety of personalities and individuals
Communicate with Superintendent and co-workers
Clean driver’s license
Able to lift 75lbs
Health card
Be dependable and trustworthy
Pass pre-employment drug test

Responsibilities

Ability to understand plans and grade stakes to complete tasks per specification
Train others in pipe laying and Grade Checking
Guide excavator operator with Grade and Safety
Operate a variety of equipment, vehicles and hand and power tools
Able to pre-plan
