How you’ll contribute The HLA Service Technician is all about producing a strong and reliable fleet to help our customers get the job done right. With safety at the forefront, we inspect, test and service electrical/hydraulic construction equipment for regular maintenance. Responsibilities include: Ensure all equipment is rental-ready by cleaning, checking and properly refueling. Follow the appropriate checklist and procedures. Can read and refer to the owner’s manuals and schematics. Maintenance can include checking/gapping spark plugs, replacing air filters, greasing/lubricating bearings/ joints, replacing/tensioning belts, etc. Operates and tests equipment (under actual operating conditions, if possible). Determines the serviceability or the need for the equipment repair. Completes all services or repairs to OEM specifications. Possesses excellent product knowledge, including features and benefits, and safe operating techniques. Ensure every customer is treated in a fair and consistent manner and resolve issues as they arise. Follows all paperwork and computer procedures related to servicing equipment. Mains all inventory control documents to preserve the integrity of the Rental Management computer system.
