About The Position

NED, LLC. is a large heavy equipment dealership with over 30 years of industry experience in equipment sales, rentals, and customer support. Through mergers and acquisitions, NED, LLC. has grown through multiple acquisitions of independent heavy equipment dealerships, including Four Seasons Equipment, MAY-RHI, Earthmovers Construction Equipment, Richardson Service 1991, Inc., Grove River Machinery, and L & N Supply Company Inc. Today the company is re-branded under one unified name, NED – National Equipment Dealers.

Requirements

8 plus years of hands-on experience preferably in heavy equipment
Proficiency in hydraulics, electrical, pneumatic, and diesel engines
Servicing off-road heavy construction equipment such as excavators, material handlers, wheel loaders, and many more off-highway trucks/equipment
Leader who is a team player
Ability to work with other shop technicians to accomplish projects in an efficient manner
Proficiency in Diagnostics and manufacture diagnostic software
Proficiency in Hydraulics and repair of hydraulics
Proficiency in Electrical systems
Proficiency in Pneumatic
Proficiency in Diesel engines
Five plus years of experience in the heavy equipment service industry

Management or supervisory experience is preferred

Responsibilities

Manage all repair and maintenance work for customer machines and NED rental fleet equipment
Supervise service department personnel
Managing customer relations and service invoicing process
Financial management of the service department
Manage staffing and retention of service personnel.
Coordinate training for technicians
Acquiring new service business and estimate repair costs accurately and timely
Manage warranty claim submission process with manufacturers
