About The Position

Yellow Iron, LLC is a new and growing player in the heavy equipment industry, seeking a driven Sales Representative with in-depth technical knowledge of heavy machinery. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys closing deals, working hands-on with equipment, and assisting customers in selecting the appropriate machinery for their specific needs.

Requirements

Proven sales experience with a strong passion for heavy equipment.
Technical understanding of equipment specifications such as torque, hydraulics, and horsepower, with the ability to communicate this information clearly to customers.
Previous experience in equipment sales, construction, or a related industry.
Capability to inspect equipment and provide accurate, informed assessments.
Self-motivated, competitive drive, and a strong desire for success.
Possession of a valid driver's license.
Willingness and ability to travel locally and regionally.

Responsibilities

Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the customer base.
Cultivate strong relationships with contractors, operators, and fleet managers.
Conduct thorough inspections and evaluations of heavy equipment to ensure they meet customer requirements.
Demonstrate equipment capabilities through hands-on demos and walk-arounds.
Recommend and provide suitable solutions, including new equipment, used machinery, and rentals.
Collaborate with the service team to foster customer loyalty and repeat business.
Contribute to revenue growth within a company that values individual impact.
