About The Position
We are a leading industrial mechanical, electrical, and civil construction services provider for the fossil and nuclear power, pulp and paper, chemical, mining, and general manufacturing industries. We provide a full range of industrial facilities maintenance and process maintenance services. MOR PPM Inc. is seeking equipment operators in Lakeland, FL. The Operator is responsible for proper care and operation of equipment such as excavator and skid steer.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in heavy equipment operating in an industrial setting is required
- Possession of a current valid driver’s license
- Knowledge of proper operation of heavy equipment as well as safety standards
Responsibilities
- Operates heavy equipment such as excavator and skid steer.
- Services and performs general and preventative maintenance on equipment
- Transports and delivers materials
- Coordinates and plan’s routes in an industrial setting with focus on working safely
- Ability to read, understand, follow, and enforce safety procedures
- Knowledge of basic vehicle inspection and maintenance including tire pressure, checking oil and water levels.
