About The Position

Under direct supervision, the Heavy Equipment Operator performs earthmoving duties on a daily basis. This role requires a working knowledge of overburden handling, ore and soil segregation, and a general understanding of hydraulic principles. The operator must observe and follow all safety rules and procedures, including wearing appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Job tasks, correctly performed, impact indirectly on cost containment, efficiency, profitability, and operations.

Requirements

• Candidates who are not legally authorized to work in the United States will not be considered. Halliburton will not sponsor applicants for work visas for this position.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2 years' experience operating Caterpillar 627 scrapers, D9 dozers and 14 road grader, in a mine setting, required or general experience operating Caterpillar D8 dozer and 980 loader in stockpile setting.
• Must have a current and valid driver's license and a clean motor vehicle record.
