About The Position

Operates a variety of heavy equipment vehicles to spread and compact construction demolition materials, soil remediation materials, and commercial and residential waste at post-collection facilities and/or job sites. Works closely with team members and follows safety protocols to support efficient project completion while minimizing risks. The role operates in both indoor garage, shop, or gas plant conditions and outdoor conditions, including inclement weather, heat, and humidity. It is designated safety-sensitive and requires strict compliance with safety rules and protocols. Employment may involve pre-employment, post-incident, reasonable-suspicion, and random drug and alcohol testing in accordance with government regulations and company policies.

Requirements

No educational requirement.
Be at least 18 years of age.
Be legally eligible to work in the country where the position is located.
Have 1–3 years of previous experience operating heavy equipment.
Be proficient at an advanced level in the minimum equipment required for site operations; equipment may include tipper, ADTs, compactors, small equipment such as skid steers, tractors, and water trucks, dozer, excavator, and wheel loader.
A valid driver's license may be required upon hire.

Responsibilities

Operate heavy equipment in compliance with company operating safety policies and procedures.
Conduct routine equipment inspections and preventive maintenance, and maintain accurate records.
Move and position raw materials and finished components using material-moving equipment.
Follow applicable standard operating procedures when operating and maintaining vehicles.
Perform other duties as assigned.
