About The Position
We are looking for an experienced Heavy Equipment Mechanic to join our team. You will be diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of heavy construction and earthmoving equipment in a shop environment.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of heavy equipment repair experience
- Strong diesel, hydraulic, and electrical systems knowledge
- High school diploma or technical certificate
Nice To Haves
- OEM dealership experience preferred (CAT, John Deere, Komatsu, Volvo, CASE, Hitachi, etc.)
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues on equipment including: Excavators (CAT, Komatsu, Volvo, Hitachi, John Deere, Link-Belt), Dozers and track loaders (CAT, Komatsu, John Deere), Wheel loaders and skid steers, Motor graders, Articulated and rigid dump trucks, Compactors and pavers, Backhoes and telehandlers, Scrapers and pipe layers
- Perform preventive maintenance (oil, filters, fluids, belts, hoses)
- Read and interpret service manuals and electrical schematics
- Document repairs and parts usage accurately
