About The Position

Felix Construction is looking for an experienced Heavy Equipment Mechanic to help keep our fleet running strong. If you enjoy diagnosing problems, replacing major components, and seeing the results of your work every day, you'll fit right in. Unlike many mechanic jobs, you'll work consistent Monday-Friday shop hours, no overnight travel, and no rotating shifts. You'll have a clean, temperature-controlled shop, modern bays, and a wide variety of equipment to work on. Most importantly, you'll become an employee-owner through our Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP), which means when the company succeeds, you share in that success.

  • Comfortable performing heavy line mechanical work and major parts replacement.
  • Able to follow direction from senior mechanics or supervisors and complete repairs with minimal supervision.
  • Takes ownership of assigned work and sees it through to completion.
  • Enjoys being a hands-on mechanic rather than managing others.
  • Works safely and takes pride in quality workmanship.
  • Mechanical aptitude.
  • Valid driver's license with a good driving record.
  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
