Heavy EQ Operator (Hazmat Low)
About The Position
The Heavy Equipment Operator safely operates heavy equipment used to load/unload ISO containers and military equipment. This role is responsible for performing Preventive Maintenance Checks and Services daily and reporting all discrepancies to the lead and maintenance scheduler. The Heavy Equipment Operator is responsible for keeping all heavy equipment assigned in good working condition by performing PMCS Preventive Maintenance Checks and Services. Ensures inspections are conducted and discrepancies are corrected when possible or turned in to maintenance for repair. This role involves loading and off-loading 20/TEUs and other oversize equipment using the Kalmar/Terex and Crane on the installation. The operator will attend training as required and perform other job-related duties as directed from supervisor.
Requirements
- Valid Driver’s License
- Ability to work overtime as required.
- Ability to work in difficult weather conditions.
Nice To Haves
- Class A or B CDLs in order to operate the crane
Responsibilities
