This contact center role involves interacting with clients' customers daily, providing troubleshooting support over the phone and via email. The position requires computer proficiency, great typing skills, and attention to detail for database management. Candidates must be able to clearly and concisely communicate diagnostic information. The role focuses on medium/heavy duty truck component failures, both mechanical and electrical, and provides customer service and problem resolution for technical and warranty issues. A strong understanding of mechanical operations, component functions, failure analysis, electrical troubleshooting, wiring schematics, and electrical diagnostic principles is essential. Practical experience with automotive work, including hands-on mechanical and/or electrical product experience with components like axles, brakes, drivelines, transmissions, trailer products, transfer cases, and wheel-ends, is required. The company places a high emphasis on practical experience and certifications such as ASE Automotive and Heavy Truck certifications. A working mechanical knowledge of Class 7 and 8 “Over the Road Trucks” is necessary. The team technically diagnoses issues when truck components like axles, brakes, drivelines, transfer cases, or other components break.
