Requirements

• Must have a valid driver's license and ability to be insured by company insurance policy.
• Must have a TWIC card or be able to obtain one upon hire.
• Must be able to stand on your feet for 8 hours or more.
• Must be able to communicate to supervision in a timely fashion if problems or questions should arise.
• Must be willing to follow all safety procedures and work safely.
• Must be able to work in a result-orientated, fast-paced environment as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Dismounting, cleaning of wheels, mounting and balancing of all heavy truck wheels.
• Keeping the tire area clean, tidy and organized.
• Property and safely performing the tire and related services needed for all company owned units.
• Service Commercial Tires, including dismounting, mounting, and balancing commercial, industrial, and light truck tires.
• Inflating tires to prescribe PSI per load requirements.
• Determine repairable tire conditions and make sure repairs as needed on commercial industrial, and light truck tires.
• Clean and maintain service equipment, maintenance on tools, and all other company property.
• Properly execute required service tickets to submit to management and all other necessary paperwork as required.
• Comply with OSHA regulations and safety requirements.
• Wear proper PPE, use tire cages, and follow all other safety policies and procedures.
• Other duties as assigned
