About The Position
Experienced Heavy Equipment Mechanics are needed in the Richmond, VA region to work with a large service, rental, and parts distributor supporting the Construction, Mining, and Recycling industries. The role offers the opportunity to work with a team of experienced technicians, both locally and at client sites. The work includes shop and on-site yard work. The schedule is Monday to Friday, with overtime, and a 7:00 a.m. start time. Compensation is $28.00–$32.00 per hour. Full benefits begin after 30 days.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of heavy equipment maintenance experience with large machinery, stationary or mobile.
- Comfort with hydraulics, welding, electrical systems, preventative maintenance, and diesel engines.
- Valid driver's license.
- Own tools; specialty tools are provided.
- Ability to work independently.
- Successful candidates must pass background checks and drug screening.
Nice To Haves
- Background with screening, crushing, conveyors, trommels, or shredders.
Responsibilities
