Requirements

2+ years experience in diagnosing/troubleshooting, repair, & maintenance of diesel heavy equipment and construction vehicles.
Basic computer knowledge and experience with computer diagnosing.
Read, interpret, analyze, and apply information from technical manuals, schematics, and computer diagnostics.
Must be willing to travel to different work sites.
Self-motivated, team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
Must maintain positive attitude and act courteous and respectful toward others.
Comfortable working outdoors in extreme weather conditions and in a noisy, dusty environment.
Must be able to work safely in a busy environment with moving machinery.
Ability to lift 50 lbs. several times throughout the day.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Good reading, writing, and verbal communication skills.
Current driver’s license & clean driving record.

Nice To Haves

5+ years experience diagnosing/troubleshooting, repair, & maintenance of heavy equipment.
Operation of front end loader, dozer and/or excavator.
MSHA certification.
Heavy mechanic certification or degree from an accredited program.
Welding experience.
Have own tools.

Responsibilities

Diagnosing/troubleshooting, repair, & maintenance of diesel heavy equipment and construction vehicles.

Willingness to cross train in crusher maintenance.
Work safely in a drug-free environment.
Work an irregular schedule, including early mornings/evenings/weekends/holidays.
Timely & regular attendance is essential.
Work safely and take action to prevent any and all unsafe actions or behaviors.
