About The Position
Experienced Heavy Equipment Mechanics and Industrial Millwrights are needed in the Alexandria, VA region. This role involves working with a large service, rental, and parts distributor that supports the Construction, Mining, and Recycling industries. The opportunity allows for collaboration with a team of experienced technicians both locally and out-of-state on client sites.
Requirements
- 5+ years of Heavy Equipment Maintenance experience with large machinery (stationary or mobile).
- Comfortable with Hydraulics, Welding, Electrical, Preventative Maintenance, and Diesel Engines.
- Valid Driver's License.
- Own tools (specialty tools will be provided).
- Ability to work independently.
- Must pass background checks and drug screening.
Nice To Haves
- Background with Screening, Crushing, Conveyors, Trommels, Shredders is a strong asset.
- Industrial Millwright experience.
Responsibilities
- Perform maintenance on heavy equipment, large machinery (stationary or mobile).
- Work with screening, crushing, conveyors, trommels, and shredders.
- Service hydraulics, perform welding, electrical work, and preventative maintenance.
- Maintain diesel engines.
- Travel to client sites, potentially 1-3 nights per week.
- Work independently.
- Respond to mobile dispatch.
