Trouble shoot, repair and maintain CAT equipment in either a shop or field environment (possibility of remote locations). Diagnose faults or malfunctions using computerized and other testing equipment to determine extent of repair required. Providing support with reference to on-site safety requirements. Maintain Finning Customer Service Commitment.
Requirements
- Interprovincial Journeyperson Heavy Equipment Certification
- Clean Drivers’ Abstract (5 yr) required for field roles
- Demonstrated field troubleshooting skills on the Caterpillar equipment is required for field based positions
- Ability to obtain Customer Site access (Drug & Alcohol, fitness testing) and wear a respirator where applicable
Nice To Haves
- Strong experience in Electrical, Hydraulic and Emissions systems are considered assets
- Engine and/or component rebuilding experience is beneficial
- Transmission or Hydraulic testing experience
- Previous gas engine and power generation experience would be considered an asset

- Industry Leading Wage: $54.04 - $60.04
- Hourly Premiums Available: $2.25 Field Premium, $3.50 Continuous Shift Premium
- Shift Rotation: 7x7 Continuous Shift OR 5x2 (Monday to Friday)
