About The Position

We are looking for an exceptional and experienced Agriculture Equipment Technician to join our team in High River, AB. Experience as an Agriculture Equipment Technician, Heavy Equipment Technician or Heavy Duty AG Mechanic would be preferred (agriculture experience isn’t required, but would be a bonus). Experience with AGCO (Fendt/Massey Ferguson) would be preferred.

Requirements

• A Journeyperson Agriculture Equipment Technician, Heavy Equipment Technician or Heavy Duty AG Mechanic would be preferred (will also consider apprentices or other trade qualifications)
• Proficient with computer and electrical diagnostics (CANBUS troubleshooting and using an Electronic Scan Tool)

Nice To Haves

• Experience as an Agriculture Equipment Technician, Heavy Equipment Technician or Heavy Duty AG Mechanic
• Experience with AGCO (Fendt/Massey Ferguson)
• Experience with agriculture equipment (including experience growing up or working on a farm)
• Someone who is a problem solver, finding solutions to complex repair or diagnostic challenges

Responsibilities

• Working on a wide range of agriculture equipment and brands
• Diagnostics, electrical work, general repairs, maintenance and pre-delivery inspections of equipment
• Pre-season inspections and updates to equipment
• Manufacturer training
• Completing detailed notes on work orders and recommendations for additional work that should be considered for the equipment
• Completing work in the shop and/or field as needed
