Heavy Duty Diesel Technicians are responsible for diagnosing truck problems and performing truck repairs. Technicians create repair plans and fill out parts requisitions for needed parts. They are also responsible for tagging all warranty parts that are replaced and for turning in parts with core value. Technicians must also communicate updates to their Foreman daily and must maintain toolboxes organized and workstations clean and safe. Technicians perform tasks and possess skills noted below and have efficiency ratings of 85% or above.   • Comfortable with major vendor/factory repairs and procedures
  • Knowledgeable on all vehicle component repairs HVAC
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.
  • Must be able to pass post offer drug test, and physical

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose truck problems and perform truck repairs.

  • Complete engine repairs within SRT time
  • Perform complex chassis repairs within SRT time
  • Perform all vehicle component repairs
  • Diagnose all vehicle component failures
  • Perform root cause failure analysis
  • Perform Vibration analysis
  • Perform Aftertreatment repairs
  • Perform Aftertreatment diagnostics
