About The Position

TCI RENTAL AND LEASING is looking for Diesel Mechanics with an expert touch and attention to detail. We are seeking Diesel Mechanics with 3 to 4+ years of experience. The role involves inspecting trucks and trailers to DOT standards. The normal work week is Monday through Friday from 8 am to 5 pm, with a rotating on-call schedule. When on call, the work week is Tuesday through Saturday from 8 am to 5 pm. Overtime is available as needed, and flexibility to work an 11 am to 9 pm shift may be required to accommodate customers.

Requirements

3 to 4+ years of experience as a Diesel Mechanic.
Expert touch and attention to detail.
Ability to diagnose and repair powertrain, motor, and transmission.
Ability to perform overhead tune-ups.
Ability to repair cooling systems.
Ability to service engine accessories (Alts, belts, AC system, air compressors, fuel pumps, power steering).
Ability to repair injectors, harness seals, hydraulic systems, PTO's, pumps, plumbing, and driveline components.
Ability to repair suspension (airbags, shocks, leaf springs, leveling valves, air systems).
Ability to repair differentials, driveshafts, steering systems (Pitman, draglink, tie rod ends, assembly, kingpins), and axle seals/bearings.
Ability to repair HVAC systems, AC, and heat.
Ability to perform electrical repairs, including lights, ADAS, SCR, DPF, DEF systems.
Ability to diagnose sensors, harness, and filters.
Proficiency in computer diagnostics with Incite, Tech Tool, Diagnostic Link.
4 to 6+ years of Diesel Engine Repair experience.
Must possess a valid driver's license.
Self-motivated & Leadership skills.
Must be available for On Call Rotation.

Responsibilities
