About The Position

The base pay ranges from $33.00 per hour to $42.00 per hour, plus an additional $3.00 an hour swing shift differential. Requirements

Carry out all duties with a strong commitment to excellent customer service.
Ability to show up to work on time and ready to work.
Detail oriented, good communications and interpersonal skills and good organizational skills.
Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 50-pound objects and is occasionally required to lift as much as 100-pound objects.
Ability to travel for short periods of time and able to work in outside weather conditions.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee works near moving mechanical parts. The employee is regularly exposed to fumes, airborne particles, vibration, toxic or caustic chemicals, wet, and/or humid conditions and occasionally works in high, precarious places.

Responsibilities

Provide maintenance on heavy-duty equipment, ie: tractors, trailers, forklifts, etc.
Assist with major component swaps like hydraulic pumps, engines and transmissions.
Must be able to apply and be issued a TWIC (Transportation Workers Identification Card).
Perform inspections in compliance with DOT and FMCSA regulations.
