About The Position
Tru72 is hiring a residential HVAC Service Technician to test, diagnose, and repair residential heating and cooling systems using measured readings rather than guesswork. The technician represents Tru72 in the field, explains findings and options to homeowners, and provides professional, well-documented service. This is a performance-focused role with opportunities to generate leads and grow into more senior or leadership positions.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of residential HVAC service experience.
- Ability to confidently diagnose systems through testing.
- Clear and professional customer communication.
- Pride in clean work and proper documentation.
- Reliability, punctuality, preparation, and accountability.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to pass a background check.
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
Nice To Haves
- EPA certification, or willingness to obtain it.
Responsibilities
- Test and diagnose residential HVAC systems using measured readings, then complete repairs correctly the first time.
- Perform maintenance and full system evaluations.
- Clearly explain test results, findings, and options to homeowners.
- Identify system replacement opportunities when appropriate.
- Deliver clean, professional, well-documented service.
- Turn over qualified leads to Comfort Advisors.
