About The Position

Aerobraze, a division of Wall Colmonoy, manufactures turbine engine components and other parts for turbomachinery. Its 90,000-square-foot facility in Cincinnati, Ohio, has a team of more than 50 professionals and ships products globally. The Heat Treater Operator controls and monitors heat-treat furnaces while following written instructions, prepares parts for processing, and loads and unloads furnaces and related equipment. The operator troubleshoots unexpected issues or notifies a supervisor and practices and promotes safety and good housekeeping. The posting identifies this as a weekend shift.

Requirements

• High school degree or equivalent.

Nice To Haves

• At least 5 years of professional work experience and/or training.
• At least 1 year of experience operating a vacuum furnace for heat treatment.
• Knowledge of heat-treating processes.
• Forklift certification.

Responsibilities

• Control and monitor heat-treat furnaces while following written instructions.
• Prepare parts for processing.
• Load and unload furnaces, fixtures, baskets, and related items.
• Troubleshoot unexpected issues and/or notify a supervisor.
• Practice and promote safety and good housekeeping.
