2nd Shift Heat Treat Operator
About The Position
Dauphin Precision Tool, LLC is seeking a 2nd Shift Heat Treat Operator to assist with heat-treating functions in the Heat Treat Department. Work includes straightening, shank draw, surface treating, brushing, drilling, packing, hardness testing, operating a fully automated heat-treat line, and performing preventative maintenance. The operator packs jobs for the automatic heat-treat line based on hardness, steel type, and diameter, and prioritizes jobs according to quoted customer delivery dates. The role also includes operating shank-draw machinery and surface-treat equipment, verifying that products meet the heat-treatment specifications shown on drawings, and communicating equipment problems to the Supervisor. Other assigned duties may or may not be directly related to heat treating. Basic computer knowledge is expected. The position requires lifting at least 50 pounds.
