About The Position

Cummins Inc. is hiring two Heat Treat Operators for its manufacturing facility in Morristown, Tennessee. The role operates machines and production equipment in accordance with quality and productivity requirements, safely and with limited guidance. Operators contribute to workplace safety, environmental awareness, product quality, and continuous improvement. New hires will begin training on days and move to their assigned shift and rotation when the Heat Treat Supervisor determines they are ready. The role is intended for the upcoming A-B-C-D teams, which will work 7 a.m.–7 p.m. on a rotating schedule; the specific schedule is still being discussed. The base rate is $20.51–$23.75 per hour, with a $1.00-per-hour shift premium. Requirements

High school diploma, certificate of completion of secondary education, or equivalent experience that meets applicable regulations.
Some work experience or intermediate-level knowledge obtained through education, training, or on-the-job experience.
May require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.

Stop work and immediately report major injury hazards.
Promptly report work-related injuries, illnesses, incidents, and hazards.
Follow HSE standards, policies, procedures, and regulations.
