About The Position

Perform Temperature Uniformity Surveys (TUS) and System Accuracy Tests (SAT) to ensure heat-treat process compliance. Operate, troubleshoot, and maintain heat-treat furnaces and related equipment to support safe, efficient production. Lead daily heat-treat operations while ensuring compliance with quality standards, customer requirements, and industry specifications. Manage pyrometry activities and maintain compliance with AMS 2750, NADCAP, and other applicable standards. Partner with Engineering to develop new tooling, improve heat-treat processes, and implement equipment upgrades. Coordinate preventive maintenance programs to maximize equipment reliability and minimize downtime. Troubleshoot equipment issues and coordinate repairs with internal teams and external service providers. Train and mentor employees on heat-treat processes, equipment operation, and best practices. Collaborate with Production, Planning, and Engineering to support production schedules and continuous improvement initiatives. Manage tooling, replacement parts, and consumable inventories to ensure uninterrupted production. Serve as the heat-treat subject matter expert during internal, customer, and NADCAP audits. Maintain accurate process documentation, equipment calibrations, certifications, operator qualifications, and production records. Ensure all heat-treat equipment remains calibrated and compliant with customer specifications and applicable industry standards.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in heat treat operations or a related manufacturing environment.

  • Associate degree in Engineering or a related technical field preferred.
