About The Position

Texas Health Physicians Group is hiring a full-time Cardiovascular Physician Assistant to join a team of diagnostic, interventional, and non-interventional cardiologists in Plano, Texas. The role focuses primarily on clinic-based care, with hospital rounding activities and shared call coverage. The PA will work closely with board-certified physicians providing cardiovascular care and a multidimensional approach to cardiac and peripheral vascular therapies. The position is 40 hours per week, with shared call and Saturday coverage two days per month. Duties include outpatient ambulatory visits and hospital rounding, including hospital call once a month. Nuclear testing, stress tests, and echocardiograms are available on site. The PA will use electronic medical records and serve the THPG patient population in the assigned setting. The PA reports to the supervising physician and/or Medical Director and is responsible for meeting CME requirements to maintain certification and licensure.

Requirements

Active Texas physician assistant license, maintained in good standing.
Physician Assistant Board Certification.
Acute and critical care experience.
Master's degree in Physician Assistant studies from an accredited Physician Assistant program.
Physician Assistant experience.

1–3 years of cardiology experience.

Responsibilities
