About The Position

Texas Health Physicians Group is hiring a full-time Cardiovascular Physician Assistant to join a team of diagnostic, interventional, and non-interventional cardiologists in Plano, Texas. The role offers the opportunity to work closely with board-certified physicians diagnosing and treating cardiovascular diseases. The position is primarily clinic-based, with hospital rounding and shared call responsibilities. The practice provides outpatient ambulatory visits and on-site nuclear testing, stress tests, and echocardiograms. The PA will serve the THPG patient population in the assigned setting, report to the supervising physician and/or Medical Director, and meet continuing medical education requirements to maintain certification and licensure.

Requirements

• Active physician assistant license in Texas, maintained in good standing.
• Physician Assistant Board Certification.
• Experience as a physician assistant.
• Acute and critical care experience.
• Master's degree in Physician Assistant studies from an accredited Physician Assistant program.

Nice To Haves

• 1–3 years of cardiology experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient ambulatory care to patients.
• Participate in hospital rounding activities, including Saturday coverage.
• Share call responsibilities, including hospital call.
• Maintain CME requirements for certification and licensure.
• Provide care to the THPG patient population in the assigned setting.
