About The Position

A long-standing, patient-centered healthcare group is seeking a Hearing Instrument Specialist to join its expanding team in Goodyear, AZ. Reporting to the Director of Operations, the Hearing Instrument Specialist is responsible for conducting diagnostic testing and providing support to the on-site Audiologist in managing hearing instruments. This role requires strong clinical knowledge, excellent patient communication skills, and comfort working with individuals across various age groups—children (5+), adolescents, adults, and older adults. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, adaptable, and committed to delivering an outstanding patient experience.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Experience in conducting hearing tests, assessments, and consultations with accuracy
  • Commitment to patient care and improving quality of life for individuals with hearing conditions

Responsibilities

  • Perform diagnostic hearing assessments and assist the Audiologist with hearing instrument fittings and follow-up care.
  • Provide guidance and support to patients regarding hearing instruments, maintenance, and usage.
  • Maintain professional and supportive interactions with patients, families, vendors, and internal team members.
  • Apply working knowledge of the auditory system and auditory rehabilitation techniques.
  • Ensure accurate documentation and adherence to clinical standards and organizational protocols.
