Beltone Hearing Care Center is seeking a Licensed Hearing Aid Dispenser / Hearing Instrument Specialist (HIS) to join our patient-focused team supporting our Hackensack and Allendale, NJ locations. Requirements

  • Licensed Hearing Aid Dispenser / Hearing Instrument Specialist (required)
  • Strong diagnostic, fitting, and counseling skills

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive hearing evaluations using industry-leading diagnostic technology
  • Develop personalized hearing solutions based on each patient’s hearing loss, lifestyle, and goals
  • Fit, program, and fine tune hearing instruments for optimal performance and comfort
  • Provide ongoing follow-up care to ensure patient satisfaction and long term success
  • Educate patients and families on hearing health, hearing aid options, and realistic expectations
  • Perform cleanings, troubleshooting, adjustments, and minor repairs
  • Guide patients through their full hearing journey, from initial consultation through long-term care
  • Build strong, trust-based relationships through education, empathy, and consistent follow-up
  • Deliver an exceptional experience aligned with Beltone’s commitment to professionalism, care, and individualized treatment
  • Support practice growth through patient retention, referrals, and high-quality outcomes
  • Participate in local events, community outreach, and hearing health awareness initiatives
  • Contribute to appointment conversion and overall clinic performance
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
  • Follow clinical best practices and established workflows
  • Collaborate with Patient Care Coordinators and team members to ensure a seamless patient experience
