About The Position

We are seeking a Hearing Care Advisor to support its partnership with new insurer. In this customer-focused role, you will handle a high volume of inbound calls, averaging approximately 60 calls per day, with fluctuations of 10 to 20 calls depending on business needs. Many callers will be members seeking assistance with understanding their hearing healthcare benefits, verifying insurance coverage, and learning how their current benefits compare to previous plans. Representatives will also assist customers with locating in-network providers, identifying nearby hearing clinics or audiologists, and answering general network-related questions. When appropriate, the Hearing Care Advisor may transfer callers to the inbound scheduling team to help coordinate appointments with participating providers. The ideal candidate is professional, customer-service oriented, and comfortable managing a high volume of phone interactions while providing accurate and compassionate support.

Requirements

2+ years of customer service experience (If coming from a retail environment, a progression in the role is desired).
Or 2+ years of contact center experience, preferable in a healthcare environment.
Professional demeanor.
Customer-service oriented.
Comfortable managing a high volume of phone interactions.
