About The Position

The Hearing Ambassador (Patient Care Coordinator) assists the licensed dispenser with meeting goals and carrying out daily duties. The role engages customers, supports hearing health needs, educates individuals about hearing wellness, schedules appointments, and supports growth through community outreach and customer relationship building. The position is based on-site at the Sam's Club Hearing Aid Center in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Although based in the Hearing Aid Center, the employee will spend 95% of the time walking and working the club, intercepting members, and arranging hearing tests.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong customer service, sales, or retail experience.
• Experience working with PC hardware and software, including general computer and Internet knowledge.
• Excellent oral and written communication, organizational, problem-solving/troubleshooting, and presentation skills.
• Previous experience with patient or customer appointment scheduling.
• Proficiency with basic computer systems and scheduling software.

Responsibilities

• Maintain working knowledge of all Hearing Aid Center products and services.
• Set the stage for full tests and full-boat purchases when interacting with members.
• Complete 30–50 outbound calls daily to prospective and/or existing customers.
• Secure a minimum of four immediate or scheduled full hearing tests daily for the hearing aid specialist or audiologist working in the center.
• Promote and sell non-hearing-aid products to members who do not have hearing loss, with an expected 50% increase in non-hearing-aid product sales.
• Learn and use the handheld screener, when permitted by state regulations, as an intercepting tool to generate qualified leads.
• Assist with calling previously tested members, whether or not they made a purchase, and medical referrals to schedule return visits.
• Promote the Hearing Aid Center at Sam’s Club events, Hearing Aid Center events, and possibly outside marketing events.
