About The Position

The Hearing Ambassador assists the licensed dispenser with meeting goals and completing daily duties at a Sam's Club Hearing Aid Center. The role engages customers, supports hearing health needs, educates individuals about hearing wellness, schedules appointments, and supports business growth through community outreach and customer relationship building. The position is on-site in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The ambassador is based in the Hearing Aid Center but spends approximately 95% of their time walking and working throughout the club, intercepting members, and setting tests.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong customer service, sales, or retail experience.
• Experience working with PC hardware and software, including general computer and Internet knowledge.
• Excellent oral and written communication, organizational, problem-solving/troubleshooting, and presentation skills.
• Previous experience with patient/customer appointment scheduling.
• Proficiency with basic computer systems and scheduling software.

Responsibilities

• Maintain working knowledge of all Hearing Aid Center products and services.
• Set the stage for full hearing tests and full-boat purchases when interacting with members.
• Complete 30–50 outbound calls daily to prospective and/or existing customers.
• Secure at least four immediate or scheduled full hearing tests daily for the hearing aid specialist or audiologist at the center.
• Promote and sell non-hearing-aid products to members who do not have hearing loss, with an expected 50% increase in non-hearing-aid product sales.
• Learn and use the handheld screener, when permitted by state regulations, as an intercepting tool to identify qualified leads.
• Assist, when necessary, with calling previously tested members, including those who did or did not make a purchase, and medical referrals to schedule return visits.
• Promote the Hearing Aid Center at Sam's Club events, Hearing Aid Center events, and possibly outside marketing events.
• Engage customers, support hearing health needs, educate individuals about hearing wellness, schedule appointments, and build customer relationships through community outreach.
