The Healthy Cities Program Coordinator will support the Healthy Cities team to execute its work to advance urban tree canopy in the Phoenix Metro Area and meet TNC’s 2030 goals. This includes supporting the Healthy Cities Program Manager and the Healthy Cities Capacity Building Program Manager as they design and implement their specific programs, which includes municipal engagement and the continuation of the award-winning TNC Urban Heat Leadership Academy. The Healthy Cities Program Coordinator will work across the team to support multiple projects as we scale our presence and impact across the Phoenix Metro Area. This includes performing administrative tasks including tracking and documenting programmatic outcomes, coordinating in-person and virtual meetings and events, and writing and/or designing newsletters or briefs to communicate critical information to policymakers, city officials and community groups. The Healthy Cities Program Coordinator will be managed by the Healthy Cities Program Manager but will also help to advance the Capacity Building Program Manager’s projects. This includes helping to implement and scale the annual TNC Urban Heat Leadership Academy and the new Community of Practice.
