The NC Department of Adult Correction is seeking a collaborative, relationship-focused talent acquisition professional, Healthcare Recruitment Consultant with experience recruiting specialized healthcare talent. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker who excels at building partnerships, developing innovative recruitment initiatives, leveraging data and technology, and driving workforce solutions that attract top talent, for the North Carolina Department of Adult Correction. This is more than recruiting. You'll build partnerships with universities, nursing programs, professional associations, healthcare organizations, and clinical partners to develop long-term talent pipelines that strengthen healthcare delivery across correctional facilities statewide. You'll have the opportunity to: • Build statewide healthcare talent pipelines. • Develop internship and clinical placement programs. • Partner directly with healthcare executives and educational institutions. • Influence recruitment strategy for one of North Carolina's largest public employers. • Improve access to healthcare by helping recruit professionals who serve incarcerated populations across the state. What You'll Do: As the Healthcare Recruitment Consultant, you will serve as the agency's primary healthcare recruitment strategist by: • Developing innovative recruitment strategies to attract top healthcare talent statewide. • Building partnerships with colleges, universities, nursing schools, residency programs, and professional organizations. • Coordinating clinical affiliations, internships, student placements, and healthcare pipeline programs. • Planning and attending healthcare career fairs, hiring events, conferences, and networking opportunities. • Creating sustainable recruitment initiatives focused on physicians, nursing, behavioral health, dentistry, and allied health professions. • Collaborating with facility leadership, Human Resources, and Comprehensive Health Services to improve hiring outcomes. • Utilizing recruitment metrics, workforce analytics, and applicant tracking systems to drive data-informed decisions. • Supporting digital recruitment marketing campaigns alongside Communications and Marketing. • Managing specialized recruitment projects designed to improve healthcare staffing across North Carolina.
