About The Position

Skanska is seeking a dynamic Program Manager for a project in Santa Clara. This role is part of Skanska Integrated Solutions (SIS), an in-house group providing construction project management consulting services. SIS acts as an "extension of staff" and a trusted advisor, leveraging Skanska's construction and project delivery expertise to achieve maximum savings and quality for clients. The Program Manager, acting as Owner's Agent, is responsible for the planning and on-site execution of projects from initiation through completion, providing project leadership, communication, coordination, and conflict resolution to ensure project goals are met.

Requirements

3+ Years experience in a Project Management role managing commercial building sector projects ranging in cost of $5 Million to $50 Million.
2+ years working with a preconstruction team to plan projects for success.
2+ Years of experience managing the design process and relationships between design and construction to ensure the designer delivers quality, budget conscious, and complete documents on schedule.
5+ Years of experience reading and understanding construction plans and drawings and the technical specifications associated with drawings.
Bachelor’s Degree – Construction Management, Engineering, or equivalent and 5+ years of industry experience /or equivalent industry experience (7 years).

Responsibilities
