About The Position

Lewis Brisbois, a full-service AmLaw 100 firm, is seeking an attorney for its Healthcare & Medical Malpractice Practice in its Las Vegas, Nevada office. The practice represents healthcare providers in state and federal courts and administrative proceedings and handles medical malpractice matters in numerous specialties. It includes more than 200 attorneys. The ideal candidate is admitted to practice in Nevada and has 2 to 15 years of experience representing healthcare providers. Experience defending and litigating medical malpractice lawsuits is preferred. The firm is also interested in talented developing attorneys with substantive litigation experience, a demonstrated interest in healthcare law, and strong litigation skills in another practice area. The attorney will handle litigation tasks including discovery, initial pleadings, motions, and depositions. Candidates should be comfortable working independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple projects.

Requirements

Admission to practice in Nevada.
At least 2 years of experience representing healthcare providers in state and federal courts and administrative proceedings; the stated experience range is 2 to 15 years.
Strong writing and analytical skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Nice To Haves

Experience defending and litigating medical malpractice lawsuits.
