About The Position
We are looking for an experienced EHR/Healthcare Systems Analyst to support and improve EHR and Practice Management systems in a healthcare environment.
Requirements
- 3–5+ years of experience supporting EHR/EMR or healthcare applications.
- Experience with HL7 and healthcare/clinical systems.
- Experience with system implementation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with JIRA or similar ticketing systems.
- Strong Windows troubleshooting skills.
- Knowledge of HIPAA and IT security practices.
Nice To Haves
- Healthcare IT, hospital, or medical clinic experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Support, configure, and troubleshoot EHR/EMR and Practice Management systems.
- Work with clinical, business, technical, and development teams to gather requirements.
- Support HL7 integrations and resolve system/interface issues.
- Troubleshoot application, Windows, cloud, and technical issues.
- Coordinate with software vendors and internal development teams.
- Manage system updates, patches, backups, and data integrity.
- Create and manage technical issues/tickets using JIRA/Ivanti.
- Analyze clinical workflows and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Support end users and assist with EHR training.
- Follow HIPAA and IT security best practices.
- Use tools such as REST APIs, Postman, and Swagger for testing and troubleshooting.
