About The Position
This remote consulting opportunity is for experienced Healthcare Attorneys to contribute to an advanced legal AI training and evaluation project. The work involves analysing U.S. healthcare laws and regulations, assessing compliance scenarios and legal risks, reviewing and annotating legal documents, drafting and refining contractual language, conducting policy and legal research, and evaluating AI-generated healthcare-law content. Professionals will provide structured commentary and nuanced legal interpretations to support high-quality AI training data and collaborate with project stakeholders on complex questions. No prior AI-training or model-evaluation experience is required. This is an independent contractor engagement available through 24-MAG LLC. Compensation is $140–$400 per hour. Project scope, workload, legal topics, and evaluation standards may evolve according to project requirements. Work must not use confidential or privileged information belonging to an employer, client, law firm, healthcare organisation, institution, or other third party. Requirements
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree.
- Active U.S. bar admission.
- Substantial healthcare-law experience at a major U.S. law firm or top healthcare-focused firm.
- Strong expertise in U.S. healthcare regulatory compliance.
- Deep familiarity with HIPAA, the Stark Law, and the Anti-Kickback Statute.
- Demonstrated experience drafting and reviewing complex healthcare legal documents.
- Experience advising on healthcare compliance matters.
- Strong legal research, policy-analysis, and contract-drafting skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Exceptional attention to detail and analytical judgment.
- Ability to explain sophisticated healthcare-law concepts clearly.

Responsibilities
- Analyse U.S. healthcare statutes, regulations, guidance, and complex compliance scenarios.
- Apply expertise in HIPAA, the Stark Law, the Anti-Kickback Statute, and related requirements; identify applicable exceptions, obligations, and legal risks.
- Evaluate operational and contractual arrangements for regulatory exposure and distinguish established requirements from interpretive uncertainty.
- Review and annotate healthcare-related legal and compliance documents.
- Draft and refine contractual provisions addressing regulatory requirements; identify ambiguous, inaccurate, or insufficient legal language.
- Conduct legal and policy research and synthesise complex authorities into clear conclusions.
- Recommend revisions that improve legal precision and compliance.
- Review AI-generated healthcare-law content for accuracy and completeness, identifying missed risks, weak reasoning, and incorrect regulatory conclusions.
- Provide structured expert commentary and nuanced legal interpretations, applying consistent legal-quality standards.
- Collaborate with project stakeholders on complex healthcare-law questions.
