About The Position

This Application Analyst will support one or more high-availability healthcare applications used in the PeriProcedural and Inpatient spaces in a complex healthcare setting. These applications may exist on-prem or be cloud-based. This role requires being part of a 24/7 on-call rotation and the ability to effectively diagnose reported incidents and then execute steps to either correct, manage or redirect those incidents quickly. The analyst must have excellent verbal and written communication skills. They must have the ability to organize and facilitate meetings with other IT teams, vendors and often clinical side participants. The analyst will be responsible for managing technical debt on applications where responsibility has been specifically assigned. This position demands high productivity, proactivity and professionalism as well as the ability to work effectively in a highly collaborative team environment. This is a hybrid position which should expect 70% work-from-home and 30% on-site. Analyst should be at ease and productive with both remote and on-site work.

  • Experience with Atlassian tools
  • Experience with Windows Server Administration
  • Experience with application support
  • Bachelor's degree
  • 2 years of relevant work experience

Responsibilities

  • Designs, builds, installs, configures, and/or develops software to support clinical and operational workflows.
  • Analyzes clinical or operational workflows supported by the assigned products and their relationship to the technical environment in which they operate.
  • May perform analysis and design of supporting technical infrastructures.
  • Supports clinical or operational implementations for assigned products which may also include testing and QA, reporting, product life cycle, communication/collaboration with customers and vendors, and training users.
  • Manages technical debt on applications where responsibility has been specifically assigned.
  • Diagnoses reported incidents and executes steps to correct, manage, or redirect them.
  • Organizes and facilitates meetings with IT teams, vendors, and clinical participants.
