About The Position

Centurion is proud to be the provider of mental health services to the Georgia Department of Corrections. We are currently seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Healthcare Administrative Assistant and Coordinator to support operations at Hancock State Prison | Sparta, GA. This is a fast-paced, high-demand environment requiring a professional who can manage competing priorities, maintain accuracy under pressure, and provide strong administrative support to clinical leadership and facility operations.

Requirements

Associate or bachelor’s degree in health services management, health care administration, or a related healthcare field
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a medical or healthcare setting
At least 2 years of administrative support experience in a fast-paced environment
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook required)
Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
Ability to multitask, prioritize effectively, and maintain accuracy under pressure
Professional demeanor with the ability to handle confidential information
Ability to obtain security clearance, including drug screening and background check

Responsibilities

Managing complex scheduling and coordination for clinical and leadership staff
Preparing and maintaining accurate reports, spreadsheets, and documentation
Supporting onboarding and administrative tracking for staff and contractors
Maintaining organized electronic and paper filing systems
Drafting professional correspondence and internal communications
Serving as a key point of contact for administrative inquiries within behavioral health services
Ensuring timely follow-up on outstanding items and operational needs
