Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in public health, Exercise Science, Applied Health, Dietetics, Psychology, or related field required.
- 2–4 years of experience in health and wellness education, coaching, or related field.
- Certification in one or more or equivalent of the following required: Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES), National Board-Certified Health & Wellness Coach (NBC-HWC), Registered Dietitian (RDN), Registered Nurse (RN)
- Access to reliable transportation for travel throughout Vermont and willingness to travel throughout Vermont as necessary.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for supporting Blue Cross Blue Shield of Vermont’s commitment to improving member health outcomes through education, coaching, and wellbeing engagement strategies
- Contribute to the development and delivery of health and wellbeing programs, educational events, and tools that promote whole-person wellbeing, prevents chronic disease, and supports sustainable behavior change in alignment with Blue Cross VT’s BeWell@Work program.
- Deliver individual and group health coaching sessions (in-person, telephonic, and virtual).
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners to support wellness initiatives aligned with organizational goals
- Play a key role in advancing member engagement, enhancing program effectiveness, and supporting a data-informed approach to health and wellbeing.
