About The Position

Under the direction of the manager or designee, this role supports the functions of the unit/area by performing receptionist and clerical duties. The Health Unit Coordinator is responsible for maintaining the medical record in good form, communicating effectively using established systems and protocols, and interacting with ancillary departments. This role also involves maintaining unit supplies and forms appropriately and contributing to professional development.

Requirements

  • High School Graduate or Equivalent.
  • No experience required.
  • Proficient communicative, auditory and visual skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to write legibly.
  • Ability to lift/push/pull < 20lbs.
  • May be exposed to chemicals, blood/body fluids and infectious disease.
