Under the direction of the manager or designee, the Health Unit Coordinator supports the functions of the unit/area by performing receptionist and clerical duties. This role involves maintaining medical records in good form, communicating effectively using established systems/protocols, and communicating effectively with ancillary departments. The coordinator is also responsible for maintaining unit supplies/forms appropriately. Furthermore, the position requires assuming responsibility for professional development and contributing to the professional development of others.
