About The Position

Aon is seeking an AVP/VP-level Pharmacy Consulting SME to provide pharmacy strategy, financial, and clinical consulting to employers across pharmacy solutions, including the coalition product. The role focuses on new sales, upselling services to existing clients, and delivering purchased services. It is client-facing and involves leading client meetings and projects, serving as a subject-matter expert, and presenting project results and industry updates. The ideal candidate brings employer, health system, and hospital experience.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of pharmacy benefit experience.
• Strong written and oral communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to manage expectations and understand stakeholders at all levels.
• Ability to run projects independently.
• Experience managing or overseeing large, unique groups, which may be direct or coalition groups.
• Experience running RFPs and contract negotiations.

Responsibilities

• Consult on employer RFPs, directorship consulting, and coalition consulting.
• Provide oversight and management, market checks, and ad hoc consulting.
• Lead sales and support for services including audits, PBM selection activities, coalition opportunities, market checks, and implementation services.
• Provide oversight and support for new clients and general consulting services.
• Interact directly with clients and PBM leadership teams.
• Provide clinical guidance and cost-containment strategies.
• Serve as the lead client-facing consultant for a book of business.
• Lead client meetings and projects, act as the client-facing subject-matter expert, and communicate project results and key industry updates.
