About The Position

Aon is looking for a Health Solutions Consultant. This position is hybrid and preferred to be in Cleveland, OH, but strong candidates in Columbus, OH will be considered. The role involves supporting the Lead Consultant on client assignments or acting as the Lead Consultant, managing project management for client service delivery. The Health Solutions Consultant will often be the primary day-to-day client contact and oversee the client team. They will collaborate with the client Account Executive to execute strategy and special projects. Responsibilities include analysis, drafting client presentations, participating in client meetings, and identifying client needs for other services. Additionally, the Health Solutions Consultant will partner with actuarial and broking teams for analysis, manage vendor relationships, conduct plan document reviews, handle client issues with Account Executive oversight, support issue resolution, and coach junior staff.

Requirements

  • Three plus years of experience in the group health and benefits industry with a strong working knowledge of benefits and services offered to clients.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects at one time.
  • Strong analytical skills and financial acumen.
  • Advanced level of proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint and Excel).
  • Strong presentation skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of industry experience.
  • Must have appropriate insurance license/life and health (can be fulfilled post-hire).

Responsibilities

  • Support the Lead Consultant on client assignments and/or act as the Lead Consultant and own project management to support the execution of client service delivery.
  • Act as the primary day-to-day contact of clients and oversee the client team.
