The Health Services Worker I is responsible for participating in case reviews, addressing health and disability program areas, and determining special health care needs for children. This role involves file reviews, scheduling health services, addressing immediate health concerns, obtaining consents, preparing clinic paperwork, and implementing health, nutrition, and disability programs. The position also involves monitoring IEP/IFSP goals, managing child accidents and emergencies, administering medication, and overseeing the Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP). Additionally, the role includes coordinating home visits, monitoring health and safety compliances, planning and coordinating staff training, submitting reports, and assisting with recruitment. The Health Services Worker also reports suspected child abuse and neglect and performs other assigned duties.
