About The Position

DirectHire The ACE Consulting Group is partnering with one of our valued clients to hire an experienced Health & Safety Technician to support environmental health and safety projects throughout the Northeast area (New Hampshire, Boston, Maine general area). This role is ideal for a safety professional who enjoys working in the field, partnering directly with clients, and helping organizations maintain compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations. Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Previous experience in environmental health & safety, industrial hygiene, construction safety, environmental consulting, or a related technical field preferred
  • Experience with asbestos monitoring, asbestos inspections, air sampling, lead sampling, mold sampling, or similar environmental services is highly desirable
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to prepare professional reports
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general computer applications
  • Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities
  • Valid driver's license and dependable personal vehicle required

Responsibilities

  • Conduct health and safety assessments, inspections, air sampling, and environmental monitoring activities
  • Serve as the primary on-site contact for clients, providing exceptional service and technical expertise
  • Prepare accurate technical reports, documentation, and regulatory comparisons
  • Coordinate project equipment, laboratory testing, and daily project activities
  • Maintain compliance with OSHA, EPA, and applicable health and safety regulations
  • Travel throughout the Midwest to customer locations (travel scheduled in advance with expenses reimbursed and per diem provided)
  • Collaborate with Project Managers while working independently in manufacturing, construction, industrial, and office environments
