Requirements

  • You have an Occupational Health & Safety Certificate and/or Commerce or Business Degree
  • You have 6+ years of relevant, related experience; retail experience would be an asset (A combination of relevant education and experience may be considered)
  • You are honest and trustworthy, are results-oriented and strive to be the best in what you do.
  • You believe in building relationships and collaborating to deliver solutions that matter most, and you recognize the value that different perspectives bring to meet shared objectives.

Nice To Haves

  • Loss Prevention Designation (CPP, CFI, CFE, LPQ, or LPC)
  • Canadian Registered Safety Professional (CRSP)
  • Certified Health & Safety Consultant (CHSC)

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with HR and develop policies, procedures, and manuals as it relates to Asset Protection and Health and Safety.
  • Ensuring that all company policies, local, provincial, and federal laws are adhered to in the execution of all internal and external investigations or inquires
  • Overseeing the administration of the company Occupational Health & Safety program.
  • Work collaboratively with Senior Leadership Team and Department Managers to ensure all objectives relating to Asset Protection and Health and Safety are clearly communicated and executed.
  • Effectively and efficiently managing the development and building of relationships along with ensuring the integration of strategic plans with company operations both in the short and long term.
