About The Position

The Health Equity Program Lead will provide project management and daily operational oversight of the Community Health Programs for Minority Health grant. The Program Lead will assist the Health & Equity Strategist to assure efficient and timely communication with all grant partners and stakeholders. The Program Lead will conduct community outreach as related to the grant and assure timely reporting of performance documents in accordance with funding guidelines. The Program Lead may participate and facilitate health equity trainings, as necessary, while also coordinating and maintaining working relationships with stakeholders.

Requirements

• A Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university in public health, health sciences, or a closely related field.
• Four (4) years of professional experience in project or program management in a health care field or public health field.
• Professional experience is defined as paid experience gained after the receipt of a Bachelor's Degree in a position that required a Bachelor's degree upon entrance.
• Applicants must provide original documents of their qualifying credentials to the hiring agency prior to their start date.

Nice To Haves

• Candidates with a Masters Degree in Public Health preferred.
• A Master's Degree from an accredited college or university in public health, health sciences or a closely related field may be substituted for two (2) years of the required experience.
